
Team Ghana have left the shores of Ghana to participate in the 8th CANA Zone 2 Swimming and Open Water Championship with Nine (9) swimmers , a head coach ,the president,treasurer and sports development officer of the Ghana Swimming Association.
Ghana hosted the 7th edition here in Ghana and they performed well alongside 21 other countries,
Leader of the delegation, Madam Delphina Quaye is optimistic about the chances of the swimmers and said it’s not their first time they are participating in the CANA Zone 2 Swimming Championship and Ghanaians should expect medals from the much determined young swimmers.

Abeiku Gyekye Jackson and Nubia Adjei spoke to the media about their readiness and motivation for the task ahead of them. The coach leading leading these young swimmers in the person of Isaac Gyamfi also sounded very enthusiastic about the chances of these lads by saying that they are aware of the task ahead and are equally psyche up to improve upon their times.
The competition starts from 27th May to 29th May ,2022.
